Aftercare Services

Toussaint Academy has a variety of alumni services and activities geared toward former residents of Toussaint. All former residents may access aftercare services to help them maintain stability and success. Aftercare services include case management, counseling, academic assistance, scholarships, affordable housing referrals, job placement, money management, access to medical/dental services, and alumni activities.

Toussaint Academy alumni most widely request help with the following:

  • Academic assistance (i.e., academic advising,  registration, books and other school supplies, and scholarships)
  • Financial assistance (i.e., purchasing pre-paid phones for job hunts, groceries, grad start-up kit, and medicine)
  • Housing assistance (i.e., apartment hunting, referral letters, and housing program orientations)
  • Healthcare (i.e., setting up client with Medi-Cal, helping client obtain medical or dental appointments)
  • Legal (i.e., immigration and child custody referral services)
  • Mental health services (i.e., referrals to Kickstart, MHS, Regional Center, and the Department of Rehabilitation)
